What better way to start a video game review than at the beginning? So I choose to start at the very, very beginning with the title screen where you see some compressed full-motion video from the series.

You’d have a better chance of waiting for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 or maybe Grand Theft Auto VI!
#THE LEGACY OF GOKU REVIEW SERIES#
Although I love the series and hope that the rumors that Webfoot Technologies, no seriously that is their name, is actually working on a fourth installment but given that those rumors are from 2016 and we haven’t heard anything from this, let’s face it, lower to mid-range developer in years so I highly doubt we’ll see that Legacy of Goku 4 anytime soon. I loved them…or rather I loved the second Legacy of Goku video game and Buu’s Fury, though I am replaying those so check back in a couple weeks if I still feel the same way about those. I grew up loving these games and they were the standard that I not only based other Dragon Ball Z RPGs against but also RPGs in general, not realizing my love-hate relationship with the turn-based system that prevailed in most games of the genre. In my Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot review, incidentally if you haven’t seen my video on that you should go check it out, I briefly mentioned that I had hope it would be like another Legacy of Goku game when I heard it was announced.

Anyway, enough boring stuff about the idiot behind the keyboard, let’s talk about a Game Boy Advance game from 2002 based on a licensed property I have a minor (understatement) obsession with. I was hoping to come out of the break feeling rejuvenated and bursting with energy but all I am is tired and I feel like I wasted a lot of time.so I’m just gonna hop back into what I’ve been doing but maybe with a more relaxed flow of my energy and hopefully I can come up with new ideas to provide a bit more entertainment, both to any demented individual that reads these blogs for some reason and to myself because the one thing that I’ve realized during this time away is that my work ethic, while occasionally intense, isn’t usually productive or helpful for many goals. Of course since that time I’ve posted three reviews to the blog and a video review for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which you can go see over on my Youtube channel if you haven’t already, so clearly I was still doing SOME things after all. Yes, I have returned as I said I would in…one of my previous posts but at this point I’m unsure of which…I think it was the quick Sneak King review I did where I mentioned I was taking another small break before doing another review.
